Happy Monday, friends!
I know most folks dread this day, but I encourage you to think of it as a fresh start to your week. Choose instead to focus on the good things or perhaps reminisce on what was good about last week.
This will be a new series that I will do my very best to post every Monday. It will be filled with quotes I read that encouraged me. Pictures and stories that I think everyone should hear.
Blog posts from my fellow writers. Teachings from some of my favorite people that I follow on social media.
Basically, just good stuff to start your week right.
I often share stuff like this on my social media pages, so I figured my blog would be a great place to expand this exercise. It is good for me too. I need it just as much as the rest of you.
We could all use some good news and uplifting content right about now. Covid-19, you are cramping my style.
Praying for each of you today!
Now, sit back and enjoy the goods.
*IF:TV episode with Bob Goff. I am ashamed to admit that I had not previously read or listened to anything of his. That ended after I watched this interview. What a fun, lovable, joy-filled man! I want to be just like him! Go check out his interview, and while you are there, catch up on the other episodes you may have missed (Psst..they are free!!!)
*Need help simplifying the process of studying your bible? You are in luck. My friends over @SheWorksHisWay have provided a free resource for you and your family called A Simple Guide for Everyday Bible Study. Such an incredible tool for all of those who have questions as to how to study the Bible, or maybe they are short on time, but they want to get the most out of their moments with God and His word.
Berry and Cream Cheese Croissant French Toast Bake. Enough said. I am obsessed with Half Baked Harvest and her yummy blog.
Speaking of yummy, the amazingly talented Joanna Gaines released her brand new cookbook last week The Magnolia Table, volume 2. Since we are all stuck inside, might as well try out some new recipes!
This quote by @somerdawnphoebus on Instagram really got to me and hit me right in the heart. Let's look culture in the face friends and stand up to it.
Currently Reading: Suffer Strong by Jay and Katherine Wolf; Jesus Over Everything by Lisa Whittle; Get Out of Your Head by Jennie Allen.
Until next time. Have a wonderful Monday, sister friends.
