Cheers

Bill and I have this wonderful tradition during date night (or anytime really) of raising our glasses and giving a toast.

In our relationship, we have chosen to celebrate everything we can. To raise a glass for all things in our lives, big and small.

Even if we are just having dinner at home, just the two of us, with the kids away. We say cheers.

Bill started this tradition. He was the one to give the very first toast. To us. We raised our glasses on our very first date on 12/12/2020, and celebrated that we finally got to meet in person.

We raised our glasses to celebrate the victories in our personal lives and careers. The raising of our children. Their victories.

Raised our glasses for memories and celebrations with good friends and with family.

We have raised our glasses in honor of those we love and those who are no longer with us.

We say "cheers" to it all, the big and small. This life is incredibly beautiful and I, for one, have every intention of continuing that tradition, giving a toast and bestowing good blessings toward one another.

As we close out this year, I want to raise my glass to you. To toast all of you who have taken a brief moment out of your day to read whatever it is I share on this tiny corner of the internet. Thank you. Truly. The fact that you read my words and they somehow connect with you isn't lost on me. I am truly grateful. My goal for next year to is to write and connect with all of you even more. I truly want each and every one of you to have a wonderful life. To be be fulfilled. To be in your calling and purpose and do what you were created by God to do. To have rich and meaningful lives and relationships. To achieve success and your dreams on your terms.

To live out loud and generously. To step out of your comfort zones. To dream bigger.

I have been blogging since 2006, just before Madi was born. I have had different platforms through the years, but writing is therapeutic for me. I like words. I love story telling. I like to find meaning and reason for everything in life, even the negative stuff we all have to deal with. I had no idea that my little family blog in 2006 would carry me through and what it would become.

A space to document the journey and adventure that was and still is my life.

And a lot of you have been around for a long time, following me through every change. Every moment. Even through my divorce and then watching as I fell in love again and the growing of my family and all that entails.

Wow. Thank you for being here. Cheers to you for being my friends and a listening ear. For offering your time and your heart to me. Grateful is an understatement.

So cheers to you. I toast you. I pray for you. I am thankful for you.

Let's have some fun next year together!

Farewell, 2022. You were magical and wonderful with a mix of chaotic and uncertain....but we made it.

Here's to 2023. Let's do this!

Happy New Year,

TiffanyRhea
