Let's Worship

During my walk on Saturday morning, I had my headphones in and pushed shuffle on my worship playlist that I had recently created. I had been feeling extremely anxious over everything, as I am sure we all are, so I needed to clear my head and my heart with songs of praise to remind myself that God is still on the throne.

I had asked on my instagram stories (@tiffanyrharper if you aren't already connected with me there) what they were needing most right now in terms of social media. Were they looking for fun? Hope? Encouragement? Work from home advice? Advice on being at home with the kids? I was curious and really wanted to know how I can step up my own game and provide what was valuable to those who chose to follow me.

One request was to post my worship playlist, and I thought that was a great idea! There are so many great worship songs being sung right now in churches all over our country. What a great way to connect by sharing what we are filling our hearts and minds with in terms of music. I have often believed that music plays a major role in our emotions and how we sift through them. When I am sad, I find sad songs. When I am angry, I crank up those girl power anthems.

But most importantly, when I know my mind and heart are discombobulated due to all of the chaos and distractions this world has placed on us, I know I need to worship. I need to sing praise. I need to fill my mind with less of ME and more of Him. That includes what I spend my time listening to, reading, writing and so forth.

So, without further ado, here is my current playlist. You can probably add most of these songs to your Spotify or Apple Music playlists.

And be sure to share your favorite songs with us as well. I am always adding music to my playlists.

A few of the ones I have been playing on repeat:

The Father's House by Cory Asbury

Famous For by Tauren Wells & Jenn Johnson

Run To The Father by Cody Carnes

The Blessing by Kari Jobe, Cody Caries & Elevation Worship

Holy Water by We The Kingdom

Another In The Fire by Hillsong United

Peace Be Still by Hope Darst

Enjoy!
